Trent Austin, MD

Trent Austin, MD

Dr. Trent Austin is board certified in Urgent Care Medicine. He graduated from Purdue University with a BS in chemical engineering. After working with the Chevron Corporation in California and Hawaii he returned to Indiana and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1997. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital. In August 2004, Dr. Austin opened his first urgent care practice in Batesville. He now owns and operates AccuDoc Urgent Care in Batesville and AccuDoc’s Root Cause in Harrison.

The father of four lives in Batesville with his wife, children, two cats and 21 chickens. He is passionate about spending time outdoors, no matter the weather. He loves foraging, hiking, fishing, and water sports.


Ray Barrows, FNP-BC

Ray Barrows, FNP-BC

Ray Barrows is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for delivering compassionate healthcare. He comes to us with 36 years of experience in nursing and 24 years as a Nurse Practitioner. Originally from Miami, Florida, Ray earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Miami. Inspired by his uncle, a pediatrician, Ray felt a strong calling to healthcare. He pursued an Associate’s Degree in Nursing at Miami Dade Community College, laying the foundation for his nursing career.

In 1996, Ray relocated to the Greater Cincinnati area to be closer to family. He furthered his education at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Over the years, Ray has gained extensive experience in diverse settings, including ICU, ER, Cardiology, and Urgent Care. As a provider at AccuDoc, he is dedicated to promoting health and educating his patients.

Ray resides in Cincinnati with his wife, two children, and three dogs. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing, and swimming. Recently, he has taken up woodworking as a new hobby, finding joy in this new creative outlet.


Alicia Mincher, FNP-BC

Alicia Mincher, FNP-BC

Alicia Mincher was born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio. She started as a young nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 2009 after graduating from Mount Saint Joseph University with a bachelors of science in nursing.

In 2014 she graduated with a Masters in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She brings experience from urgent care and primary care practices, as well as inpatient care as a hospitalist. She has also worked closely with Emergency Room physicians during her career as a hospitalist NP.

As a provider at AccuDoc, she brings to her patients knowledge and personal experience while using her kind demeanor to deliver patient centered care. She takes into account the importance of individual health and nutrition by having a holistic approach to treating patients.

She and her husband Joshua have 7 children and work on their organic farm in Ripley County. They are members of a local Catholic Church community at St Philomena parish. She enjoys caring for her family, creating delicious meals with farm fresh food, and helping pamper women with clean skincare.
